Plugins

Performaar provides a number of plugins to integrate with third-party devices and protocols.

Installing a Plugin​

The files associated with a plugin are packaged and distributed separate from the Performaar Server and Streamer installers as an archive (generally a .zip file). Once downloaded, this archive needs to be extracted to a predefined plugins folder, the exact location of which depends on whether the plugin is for Server or Streamer.

Performaar Server Plugins​

Plugins for Performaar Server should be installed at %APPDATA%\Second Wave Holdings Pty Ltd\Server\plugins on the machine Server itself is running on.

After extracting the plugin files, Server will need to be restarted for the new plugins to be loaded.

Performaar Streamer Plugins​

Plugins for Performaar Streamer should be installed at %APPDATA%\Second Wave Holdings Pty Ltd\Streamer\plugins on all machines Streamer is running on.

After extracting the plugin files, Streamer will need to be restarted for the new plugins to be loaded.
